Hello Paper Plane is committed to protecting your privacy. Because Hello Paper Plane lets you share content with other people, this Privacy Policy explains what is shared, how it is used, and the choices you have.
1. Information You Share
Hello Paper Plane lets you send paper-plane messages to, and receive them from, other people around the world. When you send a paper plane, the following are uploaded to a shared public service (built on Apple CloudKit) and delivered to other users, who can read them:
- your drawing or photo
- your message text
- your nickname and country
- any social media handle you add
2. Precise Location
Your precise location is collected and attached to paper planes so they can be sent to and discovered by people nearby. This location is visible to the people who receive your plane.
3. Public Profile & Rankings
Your nickname, country, social handle, and activity counts may appear on public rankings visible to other users.
4. Your Identifier
A pseudonymous identifier derived from your iCloud account is attached to your content and profile so that you can manage your posts.
5. On-Device AI
Images are screened for objectionable content on your device using Apple's SensitiveContentAnalysis framework before they are sent. This does not send your data to us or any cloud service.
6. Content Moderation, Reporting & Blocking
You can report or block other users and content, and you can delete your own posts. We may remove content or accounts that violate our guidelines.
7. Advertising & Analytics
We do not use any third-party advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting services. The app does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does not track you across other apps or websites.
8. App Information Requests
The app may download a public list of our other apps and their icons from our website. These requests send no personal information about you.
9. User-Generated Content & Consent
This app contains user-generated content that is shared publicly with other users. By posting, you confirm that you have the right to share that content and consent to it being shown to other people. Do not post content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you are not willing to make public.
10. Data Security
We are committed to protecting any data the app handles. Please be aware, however, that no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page, and changes are effective once posted. You are advised to review this page periodically.
