1. Information We Collect
Hey Money does not collect any personal or financial information on our servers. Your transactions and records are stored on your device.
2. On-Device AI
Turning your words into expense entries uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models, and voice input uses Apple's on-device Speech framework. Your voice and text are processed on your device and are never sent to us or any cloud AI service.
3. iCloud Sync (Optional)
If you turn on iCloud Sync (an opt-in setting that is off by default), your transactions, memos, categories, and any saved transaction locations are synced through your own private Apple iCloud account. This data lives in your personal iCloud, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy; we cannot access it and it is never sent to our servers.
4. Exchange Rates
Currency exchange rates are fetched from a public exchange-rate data service. These requests send no personal or financial information about you.
5. Advertising & Analytics
We do not use any third-party advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting services. The app does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does not track you across other apps or websites.
6. App Information Requests
The app may download a public list of our other apps and their icons from our website. These requests send no personal information about you.
7. Data Security
We are committed to protecting any data the app handles. Please be aware, however, that no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
