Your Weather is committed to protecting your privacy. Because Your Weather lets you share content with other people, this Privacy Policy explains what is shared, how it is used, and the choices you have.
1. Information You Share
Your Weather lets you share photos of the sky with other people. When you choose to share, the following are uploaded to a public shared feed (built on Apple CloudKit) and become visible to all other users of the app:
- the sky photo you capture
- the precise location where it was taken
- the weather conditions, temperature, and date
- any social media handles (Instagram, X, TikTok, Threads) you choose to add
Please do not share anything you are not willing to make public.
2. Location
Your location is used to show your local weather (via Apple WeatherKit) and to pin photos you share to the correct place on the map.
3. Your Identifier
An identifier derived from your iCloud account is attached to content you post so that you can manage and delete your own posts. Likes you give are recorded and associated with that identifier.
4. On-Device AI
Shared photos are screened for objectionable content on your device using Apple's Vision framework before they are uploaded, and outfit suggestions are generated on-device using Apple's Foundation Models. These features do not send your data to us or any cloud service.
5. Content Moderation & Deletion
You can report content, and you can delete your own posts at any time. We may remove content or accounts that violate our guidelines.
6. Advertising & Analytics
We do not use any third-party advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting services. The app does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does not track you across other apps or websites.
7. App Information Requests
The app may download a public list of our other apps and their icons from our website. These requests send no personal information about you.
8. User-Generated Content & Consent
This app contains user-generated content that is shared publicly with other users. By posting, you confirm that you have the right to share that content and consent to it being shown to other people. Do not post content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you are not willing to make public.
9. Data Security
We are committed to protecting any data the app handles. Please be aware, however, that no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page, and changes are effective once posted. You are advised to review this page periodically.
